Welcome to Old Tucson Blog.com where western enthusiasts can share opinions and ideas. We would love to hear about past and present experiences at such attractions as Old Tucson.
We want this to be an educational and enjoyable site so people can learn about the history of OLD TUCSON STUDIOS and how it was an important part of the legacy of Tucson. More than 300 major motion pictures and tv shows were made at Old Tucson Studios.
We encourage you to comment and share with our community so we can keep this Great American Treasure alive in the hearts of our community!

Posted at 03:25h, 18 JulyThis might actually be interesting. Most people I know in Goodyear, AZ have never heard of the studios. It seems to have dropped out of conciousness except for us other OTs ( Old Timers)

Posted at 10:29h, 16 AprilIf Western-films come back, then it usually is the production that will build a new set. (I worked @OT in 1971, film-co. built CourtHouse and Sallon during “Joe Kidd,” and “judge Roy Bean.”Also, OT still has the wonderful: Mescal town-set. (Benson) Film companies usually build most of Old Tucso, remember?? HAPPY TRAILS……
