The Western Music Association is dedicated to the promotion of Western music.  It is a great resource for upcoming events featuring Western music.  Their publication of the Western Way Magazine is the leading publication in the nation for western music performers.  The WMA is a great organization....you can find more information about joining the WMA here.

Many people watched the first episode of the “Roy Rogers Show” that featured Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and their sidekick Pat Brady in an action packed episode called “Jailbreak.”  It was a show that embraced the “Family Era” of the 1950s and each 30 minute show ended with Roy and Dale singing “Happy Trails to You,” which became one of the most beloved western songs of all time.  Read on in the Summer 2011 volume of the Western Way Magazine.   You will find a great article "Roy Roger's:  From Len Sly to Roy Rogers" starting on page 22.
